How to Care for Your Cyc Atelier Linens

Our collections are crafted from 100% premium Turkish cotton and certified fabrics designed to last for years. To maintain the unique texture, absorbency, and softness of your waffle and honeycomb weaves, we recommend following these care instructions:

Washing Instructions

  • Machine Wash Cold: We recommend washing your robes and towels at 30°C (86°F) on a gentle cycle. High temperatures can damage natural cotton fibers and cause unnecessary shrinkage.

  • Like Colors Only: Wash with similar colors to preserve the original vibrance of your linens.

  • Skip the Softener: While it sounds counterintuitive, fabric softeners coat the cotton fibers with a thin layer of chemicals, which reduces the natural absorbency of the fabric over time.

Drying & Finishing

  • Line Dry Recommended: For the best results and to preserve the fabric's integrity, we recommend hanging to dry. Air drying helps the waffle and honeycomb patterns maintain their distinct "honeycomb" look.

  • Tumble Dry Low: If you prefer using a dryer, please use the lowest heat setting. Remove the items while they are still slightly damp to prevent over-drying and stiffness.

  • Do Not Bleach: Avoid using bleach or harsh detergents, as they can weaken the organic fibers and dull the colors.

A Note on Natural Cotton

Because we use 100% natural cotton without synthetic stabilizers, a small amount of shrinkage is normal after the first wash. Following the 30°C rule and air drying will minimize this and keep your Cyc Atelier pieces as cozy as the day they arrived.
